PDF split questions

What range syntax is supported?

Comma-separated single pages and inclusive ranges, for example 1,3,5-8.

Does splitting create separate files for every page?

No. FileOne extracts the pages you list into one new PDF. To create another selection, run the tool again with a different page list.

Are digital signatures preserved?

Not guaranteed. Extracting pages creates a new PDF, so existing digital signatures should be treated as invalid on the result.

Is the original PDF changed?

No. The selected PDF remains unchanged, and the extracted pages are saved as a new file.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. Splitting runs locally with pdf-lib and makes no network requests.
